Cockatoo

When this feather is mentioned in a flypattern it means the tail from either
the Red tailed Banksian Cockatoo ""Calyptorhynchus banksii"",
or the the yellow tailed spice "Calyptorhynchus funereus"
.
female male
Above left side it's a pair of female red tailed and on right a feather from female yellow tailed.
When the export rules in Australia is like they are, you need a substitute!!
That one below is a substitute I have made by Lady Amherst tail
dyed first bright yellow and then half hot orange followed by scarlet in the tips.
But the best and most "real" looking subs for the
female, is dying undertail from Lady Amherstt red orange.
