Ibis
The scarlet Ibis "Eudocimus ruber" is called for in a lot's of fly dressings,
both as hackel and parts of the wing.
The bird is on the CITES list and very easy to substitute.
If you live close to a zoo who have the birds, ask there,
either for Ibis, or Flamingo which is very similar in color.
Swan or White Turkey rumpfeathers, dyed scarlet works very well as substitute.
